General conditions Walkalot
Article 1:
This agreement applies exclusively to the booking of a gastronomic walking holiday “Walk a Lot” in France, staying at the bed and breakfasts “Le Pech Grand” in Saint-Sozy, “La Panacee” in Cuzance, and “Le Manoir” in Souillac.
Article 2:
Duration of stay: This contract is concluded for a fixed period, and the guest cannot under any circumstances claim the right to stay in the buildings.
Article 3:
Conclusion of the contract: The reservation is final once the guest has paid a deposit of 25% of the total price of the stay to one of the organizers.
Article 4:
Personal rental: This agreement concluded between the parties may not, in any way, even partially, benefit third parties, whether natural or legal persons, unless at least one of the organizers agrees in writing.
Any violation of this last paragraph may result in immediate termination of the agreement at the expense of the guest, with the organizers permanently retaining the proceeds of the rental agreement.
Article 5:
Cancellation by the guest: Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email to one of the organizers.
Cancellation before the start of the stay: The following amounts are retained by the organizers as a fixed and definitive amount:
More than 28 days before arrival: the first deposit;
Between 0 and 28 days before arrival: 100% of the total price.
If the guest does not arrive at the bed and breakfast before 7:00 PM on the scheduled start date of the stay, this contract will be automatically terminated and the organizers will reclaim all rights to the rooms. The deposit remains with the organizers, who reserve the right to claim the balance of the stay.
In the event of a shortened stay, the organizers retain the agreed-upon price for the original stay in full.
Additional costs or services not incurred or used will be refunded.
Article 6:
Cancellation by the organization: If one of the organizers cancels the walking holiday before the start of the stay, they must inform the guest.
The guest, with the right to recover any damages suffered from the owner, will be immediately refunded any amounts already paid.
Article 7:
No cancellation: For reservations made by mail, telephone, or internet, the renter does not have a cancellation period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code.
Article 8:
Arrival: The guest can only arrive on the day and at the times stated on the confirmation. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the guest must inform one of the organizers.
Article 9:
Payment of the balance: The balance must be paid to one of the organizers no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
Consumption and additional services not listed in this contract must be paid to the organizers at the end of the stay.
Article 10:
Tourist Tax: The tourist tax (“taxe de séjour”) is a local tax that the guest must pay to the organizers, who then transfer it to the Treasury. This tax is included in the total price of the walking holiday.
Article 11:
Recourse: The guest will have no recourse against the organizers in the event of theft or looting during the walks and at the accommodations, or during luggage transport.
Article 12:
Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Internet use during the rental period is entirely the guest’s responsibility. All internet traffic is recorded on our IP address; illegal downloading is prohibited.
Article 13:
Use of the premises: The guest must respect the tranquility of the premises and use them in accordance with their purpose. They will avoid any noise that could irritate the neighbors. They will make every effort to keep the rooms in good condition.
Smoking is not permitted indoors. If we notice smoking, an additional charge will be levied.
Article 14:
Capacity: This contract is based on a specific number of guests. If the guest exceeds this number, the organizers reserve the right to refuse additional guests.
This refusal cannot in any way be considered a modification or a breach of the contract by the organizers. Therefore, in the event of a departure of more guests than the number of guests refused, no refund can be claimed.
Article 15:
Animals: Pets are not allowed. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the client, the organizers reserve the right to refuse the animals.

Article 16:
Payment of costs: At the end of the stay, the client must pay the organizers any costs not included in the initial price.
The amount is determined based on the calculation stated in this contract and in the confirmation, and proof thereof will be provided by the organizers.
Article 17:
Disputes: Any claim relating to a holiday and/or stay must be sent by letter to one of the organizers as soon as possible.
