General conditions

Article 1:
This agreement applies exclusively to the reservation of a stay at the guest house “La Panacée” located at 57 Route du Chateau d’Eau, 46600 Cuzance.

Article 2 – Duration of stay:
This contract is concluded for a fixed period. Under no circumstances can this contract be used to extend the stay.

Article 3 – Conclusion of the contract:
The reservation is final once the guest has paid a deposit of 25% of the total price of the stay to the owner.

Article 4 – Rental in a personal capacity:
The rental agreement concluded between the parties may not, in any way, even partially, benefit third parties, whether natural or legal persons, unless the owner agrees in writing.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the guest:
Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by letter or email. Cancellation before the start of the stay: The following amounts are permanently and permanently payable by the owner:
– more than 56 days before arrival: the initial deposit of 25% of the total amount due; and
– between 0 and 56 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount due.

If the guest does not arrive at the guest house before 10 p.m. on the scheduled start date of the stay, this contract will be automatically terminated and the owner will reclaim all rights to the room. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the balance of the stay.

In the event of a shortened stay, the owner retains the full price agreed for the original stay.

Article 6 – Cancellation by the owner:
If the owner cancels the stay before the start of the stay, they must inform the guest as soon as possible and attempt to find suitable accommodation with another host nearby. The guest is not entitled to compensation. If the guest does not accept the proposed solution, even without giving a reason, the owner will immediately refund the amounts already paid.

Article 7 – No Cancellation:
For reservations made by mail, telephone, or internet, the renter does not have a cancellation period, in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code.

Article 8 – Arrival:
The guest can only arrive on the day and at the times indicated on the confirmation. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the guest must inform the owner.

Article 9 – Payment of the Balance:
The balance must be paid to the owner no later than 8 weeks before arrival. Drinks and additional services are paid to the owner at the end of the stay, unless they are settled immediately.

Article 10 – Tourist Tax:
The tourist tax (“taxe de séjour”) is a local tax that the guest must pay to the owner, who then remits it to the French government.

Article 11 – Use of the buildings and grounds:
The guest must respect the peaceful nature of the buildings and use them for their intended purpose. Meals cannot be consumed in the bedrooms. The guest agrees to keep the rooms in good condition and will immediately report any damage for which they are responsible to the owner and compensate them if it is due to negligence or intent.

Article 12 – Wi-Fi:
Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and cottages. Internet use during the rental period is entirely the tenant’s responsibility. All internet traffic is recorded on our IP address; illegal downloading is prohibited.

Article 13 – Capacity:
This contract is based on a specific number of guests. If the tenant exceeds this number, the owner may refuse additional guests. This refusal cannot in any way be considered a modification or a breach of the contract by the owner. Therefore, in the event of the departure of a larger number of guests than the number of guests refused, no refund can be claimed. Article 14 – Pets:
Due to the presence of our own animals, traveling pets are not permitted at La Panacée.

Article 15 – Insurance:
The tenant is solely liable for all loss and/or damage to the rented room, the swimming pool, the garden, and its furnishings (indoor and outdoor), if this is the result of your actions or negligence or those of third parties present in the room with your permission. The tenant must be insured for these various risks.

Article 16 – Payment of Expenses:
At the end of the stay, the tenant must pay the owner any expenses not included in the rental price.

Article 17 – Disputes:
Any claim relating to a stay must be sent to the owner by letter as soon as possible.
