Do you enjoy walking? We can recommend several lovely hiking trails in the area, allowing you to leisurely explore the beautiful nature around Rignac. We’ve mapped out our own route (about half an hour) starting from La Panacée. It’s a great way to explore the area.

Besides our own short walking route around La Panacée, there are many official marked hiking trails in the area. The yellow-and-white circular walks are the shorter (looping) hikes. There are also red-and-white marked long walks, the so-called Grand Randonnées (GR). These long hiking trails run from north to south or from west to east. Special hiking maps of the Lot and Dordogne regions are available.

Waterfall-to-Waterfall Hike – Argentat
For the experienced hiker, we have a short but challenging trail. You can take the marked trail “Cascades de Murel” along the waterfalls in the forests around Argentat. Duration: just over 1.5 hours. You can also opt for the longer marked trail of approximately 4.5 hours, which also allows you to admire the natural surroundings of the waterfalls and pass nearby villages.

Walkalot
